This is a short quick read. The heroine is the owner of the Inn. It is sort of a money pit but she wants to make a go of it. Many years ago, her father was arrested and convicted of a crime he didn't commit. No one would listen to her when she tried to give evidence of another person as the killer. she wrote a book of fiction but used the people involved. A prominent man committed suicide and everyone assumed he did it. However, her father had passed away while in prison. She left town, got a law degree and moved to Dubai to get away from it all.But she owns this Inn and she returns to help out and check up on things. The family that was involved in the murder has rented some of her rooms and is staying at the Inn. There is a bit of mystery, suspense, misunderstanding, etc. I thought the romance was a little rushed. The hero is quite taken with the heroine after one time of seeing her. He is a dream guy, but it still seemed a bit too fast for me. It was an entertaining read and I would recommend it.

I thoroughly enjoyed this entertaining, short book. There were a few typos and missing words, but I could ignore them, since I was so involved in the story.
This was a really good story. I think it needed a lot more suspense though and I wish it had been longer since I so enjoyed the characters!
Well-written story with strong characters .. and quite an unexpected twist. Clean language, good plot that moved quickly all make this a great book!
This is a very good book. I enjoyed it very much and the story was a good one. I love the twist at the end of how everything came out . I recommend this book to anyone who loves a good story with a little mystery in it.
I enjoyed this book. A story about a Inn Owner whose father was wrongly convicted of a murder of a girl. Lauren felt a prominent politician committed the Crime. Must read to find out what happens when the sons show up at her Inn. A nice clean read.

An enjoyable read. A nice mix of mystery, clean romance and likeable characters in a beautiful location. This is not part of a series so when the book ends you have all the answers which is refreshing. Frostfire Inn however, certainly would lend itself to a beautiful location for a series.
I really enjoyed this book. The characters drew me in. The mystery of what happened surrounding the death or the senator and her father and who was actually the murderer of a young town girl continues to the very end with a surprise ending that I did not see coming at all. The romance between Flynn and Lauren seemed both natural and awkward (like most do). This book is well written and I enjoyed spending time with the characters.
Lia Garret is to be commended for a solid story that flows well and an ending that begs for a sequel. I want to know what happens next in the town of Tanager.
